Lufkin Police Report - 10/24/06

FRAUD:  900 block of James St.  A woman reported that someone used her name and identifying information to obtain electric service back in 2002.  The woman just discovered it when she tried to obtain electric service.

THEFT/A:  2500 block of Atkinson Dr. Two large barbecue pits were stolen sometime during the past week.

HARASSMENT:  100 block of Hopkins. A woman reported harassing phone call from an ex-boyfriend who won't leave her alone.

THEFT/B:  2200 block of N. John Redditt. A temporary employee has some company tools that the company can't get him to return now that his employment is over.

THEFT/FELONY:  2200 block of N. John Redditt. A black 16' lowboy trailer was stolen sometime over the weekend.

THEFT/FELONY:  2200 block of N. John Redditt. A black 16' lowboy trailer loaded with carpet was stolen over the weekend.  The thief also took some tarps, tie downs, shovels, and brooms.

BURGLARY/HABITATION:  1800 block of Sayers. Fifty Lufkin Panther T-shirts were stolen from a residence sometime Sunday night.

TERRORISTIC THREAT:  1500 block of  Fair. A man reported that he was threatened after telling another man to leave his dogs alone.  The victim said the suspect had been releasing the victim's dogs and messing with them for some time

BURGLARY:  200 block of S. Warren St. A home was broken into Sunday and two portable stereos and a cordless drill were stolen.
