Lufkin Police Report - 10/26/06

BURGLARY:  100 block of Curry. A television was stolen from a residence sometime during the day Wednesday.  There was no sign of forced entry.

THEFT:  4200 block of S. Medford Dr.  A cell phone was stolen and activated within the past two weeks.  The cell phone has been recovered and the investigation will continue to determine who actually took the phone.

THEFT:  800 block of Martha. A large smoker/cooker built on a trailer was stolen during the past week.  The cooker has a smoker stack, extra firebox, and two built in fish fryers.

HARASSMENT:  500 block of College. Repeated calls from a man asking personal questions have alarmed a woman.  The man has called repeatedly over the past two to three weeks asking the woman about her marital status and other questions that concerned her.

BURGLARY/BUILDING:  1500 block of Ford Chapel Dr.  An auto mechanic shop was broken into and a Craftsman five-drawer tool box containing various hand tools was stolen sometime Tuesday night.

THEFT/A:  800 block of Duren.  A green homemade 10' or 12' flatbed trailer was stolen sometime Tuesday night.
