Nacogdoches Police Report - 10/30/06

ASSAULT: 1400 block of West Main. A known suspect allegedly assaulted his common-law wife. A warrant requested.

THEFT: 500 block Of Laurel Lane. A marine battery and boat cover was stolen from a residence.

TERRORISTIC THREAT: 3100 block of Cecil Jones. A known suspect threatened complainant with bodily injury during a disturbance.

RESISTING ARREST: 1700 block of East Main. Officers attempted to contact two females in the parking lot. One attempted to walk away. When officers attempted an arrest, she resisted. Gloria Harper was arrested and also charged with public intoxication.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 1200 block of North Street. Complainant was giving a suspect a ride home and stopped and went inside a store. When he returned, he found that his 1994 Chevrolet pickup and the suspect were gone.

ASSAULT: 1700 block of Boney Street. Two brothers were fighting and one slapped the other. No charges were filed.

TERRORISTIC THREAT: 200 block of Perry Drive. A suspect threatened a family member. Allison Coward was arrested.

AGGRAVATED ROBBERY: 1000 N. University Drive. A suspect entered the store and produced a knife. An undetermined amount of cash and some cigarettes were taken. Suspect is a white male, age 30-40, 6' tall and clean shaven.

HIT AND RUN: 4800 block of North Street. Unknown suspect vehicle struck complainant's vehicle while parked in the parking lot.

DWLI: 1000 block of SE Stallings Drive. Officers stopped a vehicle for traffic and found the driver to have a suspended DL. Willie Thacker was arrested.

DWLI: 100 block of West Seale. Officers stopped vehicle for traffic violation. Computer check revealed a suspended DL. Nina Ayers was arrested.

DWLI: 300 block of Sweetgum. Officers located a vehicle reported stolen from the county. During contact of the driver, her DL was found to be suspended. Melody Welch was arrested.

DWLI: 1500 block of South Street. Suspect involved in a minor traffic accident. Driver's license found to be suspended. Harvis Berry was arrested.

DWLI: 1000 block of South Street. Officers detained the vehicle for being involved in an assault at the Annex Club. Suspect was found to have a suspended DL. Jose Escalante was arrested.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 1507 North Street (Annex Club). Officers responded to a disturbance. Complainant was found to have serious injuries to the head area after being struck with bottles and other items in the club. One suspect was located by officers and was arrested. Jose Escalante arrested.

THEFT: 2400 block of Fore Street. Officers responded to a disturbance at the above location. A theft complaint of several household items was reported.
