Cowboys Assistant Comes Ill

Coach Bill Parcells says preliminary test results on the Dallas Cowboys' strength coach today were good. But he says a second round of tests on Tony Ollison are scheduled for this afternoon in a Nashville hospital. Ollison became ill aboard the team charter shortly after take-off from Charlotte, North Carolina, overnight.

The charter jet had just taken off after the Cowboys' 35-to-14 win when Ollison asked a flight attendant for help. News media representatives on board say team doctors found he had a low blood pressure, weak pulse and was perspiring heavily. Doctors administered oxygen, and the jet made an unscheduled landing in Nashville.

Nashville airport spokeswoman Lynne Lowrance said the airport received an emergency call from the flight that there was a possible heart attack victim on board. Lowrance said Ollison was conscious when the flight landed. Team officials say Ollison was in stable condition when he was taken to Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville. No comment yet from the hospital.
