Lufkin Police Report - 11/07/06

ASSAULT/C:  3200 block of Daniel McCall.  A woman reported that a male acquaintance assaulted her by pulling on her arm around 4a.m. Tuesday morning.  The woman had no visible injuries.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  1100 block of S. Timberland.  A door window was broken out of a pickup sometime Monday evening by unknown method.

TERRORISTIC THREAT:  1200 block of W. Frank.  A woman reported that her life and the life of her newborn baby was threatened in a phone call to a female friend.

FRAUD:  1316 N. Raguet.  A man received a letter from a credit card company indicating that someone had used his name and identifying information in an attempt to obtain a credit card in his name.  The man said he had not applied for the card.

ASSAULT/A:  1400 block of Sue.  Two women reported that they were assaulted by another woman when they went to her house to find out why she was calling them names.  None of the women had serious injuries.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE:  1100 block of N. Timberland Dr.  A man reported his blue 1993 Dodge Dakota pickup stolen after he loaned it to a friend Friday night.  The friend returned without the truck and told the victim he had hit a house with the truck and left it there.  They two went to look for it but the suspect couldn't find the house again.

ASSAULT:  500 block of Chestnut.  A woman reported she was assaulted by her cousin who shot her with a BB gun and hit her in the face when she tried to take the BB gun from him.  The woman had minor injuries and declined to file charges because the suspect is only 14 years old.
