Nacogdoches Police Report - 11/09/06

HIT AND RUN: 2015 North Street. Unknown vehicle backed into an unattended vehicle in a parking lot.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 4500 block of NE Stallings. A known suspect borrowed complainant's vehicle and failed to return it.

HIT AND RUN (FELONY): 700 block of South University. Vehicle involved in a major accident fled the scene. Suspect vehicle is a red Dodge Neon.

DWI: 1800 block of North Street. Suspect was observed running the red light at North Street and Vista Drive. Driver was found to be intoxicated. Tommy Eugene Simmons was arrested.

INJURY TO THE ELDERLY: 2300 block of Center Highway. The suspect allegedly assaulted a 74-year-old male during a disturbance by hitting him on the arm. Mark Humphreys was arrested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF / ASSAULT: 4600 block of North Street. A known suspect broke a window on complainant's vehicle and physically assaulted the complainant during an argument. A warrant was requested.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 3200 block of North Street. A white 1991 Toyota Celica with black racing stripes was stolen from a parking lot.

TAMPERING WITH A GOVERNMENTAL RECORD: 200 block of Old Line Drive. A suspect gave fictitious name on a citation issued on 10/8/06. A warrant has been requested.

ASSAULT: 200 block of East Lakewood. Complainant and suspect were involved in a physical altercation which did not result in injury. No charges were pressed.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 700 block of Oakhill Plaza. A known suspect kicked in complainant's apartment door and entered. Suspect assaulted the victim by biting on the hand. A warrant has been requested.
