A.C. Hoops Fights Cancer

Over half a million Americans are expected to die from cancer this year. Angelina College Assistant Men's Basketball Coach Todd Neighbors knows all about the deadly disease. Neighbors lost his father to cancer two years ago. Now Neighbors is doing all he can to help fight cancer, through basketball.

Monday night A.C. Hoops will play McLennan on "Slam Dunk Cancer Night." The 'Runners will have a silent auction before the game that includes several signed basketball's by some of the nations top college basketball coaches. All the money raised from the auction and ticket sales... Will go to the American Cancer Society.

"I went to Coach Davis and said I think we can try to raise some money for the American Cancer Society, also help the college and the community come together as a whole. And teach our kids, our players about cancer and how it affects the whole United States and the world.*))  

Monday's game is at 7 p.m.
