Cracking Down on North Lufkin Crime

Police arrested Regina Riley, Marcus Riley and Arthur Williams in a drug bust at a north Lufkin home in the 900 block of Culverhouse. Authorities tell us they recovered 23 grams of cocaine, a gun, a car and money.

Lt. Gerald Williamson says drug activity in Lufkin neighborhoods is a growing problem. "It's a great problem in any community, not just ours. People selling drugs in neighborhoods is a terrible problem. The drain it puts on the community particularly neighbors, the problems they have because of the illegal activity, its a terrible problem," says Lt. Gerald Williamson.

Lufkin police are cracking down on the problem and with a fully staffed narcotics units authorities say the arrest of the three individuals is just the beginning of the war on drugs to clean up the community.
