Lufkin Police Report - 11/28/06

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  1100 block of S. Timberland Dr.  A man was seen at a motel trying to open several different vehicles just after 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.  A witness went out and tried to stop him, but the suspect fled in a white SUV.

ASSAULT:  2500 Daniel McCall (Wal-Mart).  Two men sought treatment after an altercation at Wal-Mart Monday evening.  One man reported he was jumped by three men in the parking lot as he left the store.  The other man reported he and the other victim fought inside the store and then outside the store after the first man attacked him.  The matter has been referred to detectives.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION:  300 block of Fuller Springs Dr.  Several air tools, hand tools, a riding mower, and auto parts were stolen from a residential garage sometime last Tuesday or Wednesday.

SEXUAL ASSAULT / RAPE:  A teenage female reported that she was sexually assaulted by a teen male that she had invited into her home Sunday morning.

THEFT:  700 block of Card Dr.  All four tires and wheels were stolen off a pickup sometime Sunday night.
