Over the past few weeks, East Texas drivers have seen a slight increase in gas prices, but truck drivers buying diesel are really feeling the pain at the pump.
"Makes some truckers angry. It makes them want to park their trucks because they can't afford the fuel, and if they do that, what is the government going to do then," says Donald Gibson.
Gibson, a truck driver for 20 years, says he is growing tired of seeing diesel prices nearly 40 cents higher than regular unleaded. He feels truck drivers are being cheated. "I think that's the governments way of ripping people off. It's just like gas. It's made off of gas. It's just a manufactured leftover, " says Gibson.
