Jury Selection Continues for Capital Murder Trial

Jury selection continues in the capital murder trial for an Angelina County man. It is expected to last into next week.

Potential jurors are in the middle of personal interviews with court officials. They are being questioned about the case against Eric Parnell of Pollok. He is accused of killing 18-year-old Anna Franklin last year.

Franklin was shot while riding in an SUV on Highway 69 outside of Pollok. Parnell is also accused of shooting and raping another woman who was driving that SUV. He reportedly told police he was angry with the women because they did not speak favorably to him at a convenience store.

If convicted, Parnell could face life in prison.
