Former Lufkin Panther quarterback and current Cincinnati Bengals receiver Reggie McNeal was suppose to appear in a Houston courtroom today.
McNeal was charged with resisting arrest by an off-duty policeman outside of a Houston nightclub early Sunday morning.
The Associated Press cited the Houston Police Department adding a misdemeanor drug charge of possession of a dangerous drug on Tuesday.
The report also stated that McNeal had a cigarette that contained promethazine, which is an antihistamine sometimes used as a sedative.
McNeal was suppose to appear in court for the resisting arrest charges, but the report stated that Reggie is out on bond and is set to have a court appearance next week.
We hope to have more on this story on the East Texas Sports at Six.
