Nacogdoches Police Report - 12/12/06

HIT AND RUN:  1500 block of North St. Officers responded to an accident. One of the involved vehicles, a black Lincoln 4 door, fled the scene on Starr Avenue without giving information.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION:   2500 block of Pettit. Residence forcibly entered through rear door. Once inside, the suspect took jewelry and a watch.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE:  4800 block of North St. A credit card that was taken in an earlier vehicle burglary was used at Wal-Mart without the owners consent.

THEFT:  2915 NW Stallings Dr. (Quick Stop). Suspect entered the store and distracted the clerk by asking for water. The suspect then grabbed an undetermined amount of cash from the cash register.

DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE:  100 block of Rusk St. Officer stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation. Driver found to have a suspended driver's license. Michael Crandal was arrested.

ASSAULT:  3200 block of North Street. Verbal argument turned physical when one suspect pushed the victim. Referred to file with court.

THEFT OF A FIREARM:  100 Crestwood. A 9mm Springfield in a holster was taken from a vehicle.

HIT AND RUN:  900 block of MLK. Unknown persons backed into complainant's parked vehicle and left the scene.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  3200 Cecil Jones. Unknown persons entered the complainant's vehicle and removed a wallet.

FAILURE TO IDENTIFY:  600 block of NORTH University Dr. Suspect was stopped on traffic and gave officers a false name. Jovanny Rubio was arrested.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY / POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA:  1500 block of South St. Suspects attempted to pawn items that were stolen. Once contacted, one suspect was also found to be in possession of marijuana. Damarion Listenbee was charged with possession of stolen property and Corey Moore was charged with possession of marijuana.

RESISTING ARREST / POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA:  4100 block of North St. Officers were attempting to arrest the suspect for municipal warrants. Suspect resisted and was found to be in possession of marijuana. Demetric Clark was arrested.
