Lufkin Police Report - 12/19/06

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  700 block of Schuller.  A car was window broken out and the stereo stolen sometime Monday night.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  300 block of Ellis Ave.  A car window was broken out and a wallet was stolen from a vehicle Monday night.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  3200 block of Daniel McCall.  A car window was pulled off the track and the stereo was stolen Monday night.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  2400 block of W. Frank.  A car window was broken out and a woman's purse stolen late Monday evening.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  2400 block of W. Frank.  A car window was broken out and a woman's purse stolen late Monday evening. (Same offense as above, different victim.)

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  900 block of Kurth Dr.  A woman broke her boyfriend's car windshield during an argument Monday night.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  900 block of Kurth Dr.  A man reported that his girlfriend threw a rock through his motel room window when he wouldn't let her in the room Monday evening.  (Same subjects as above, different time frame.)

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  800 block of Lazy Oaks.  A man reported that a friend grabbed his partially rolled down car window and pulled on it, breaking the window during an argument between the two men.

THEFT:  0 block of Tanglewood Ct.  A 3' x 5' Texas Longhorn flag was stolen from a residence Sunday night.

DEBIT CARD ABUSE:  200 block of S. First St.  A woman reported that her debit card number had been used without her consent or knowledge to pay a number of bills at different locations throughout the state for expenses she didn't incur.

THEFT:  4100 block of S. First St.  A red 16' utility trailer was stolen Saturday afternoon.

THEFT:  900 E. Denman Ave. (Lufkin Middle School). A student's purse and cell phone were stolen last Wednesday at Lufkin Middle School while the student was participating in an athletic event.

ILLEGAL DUMPING:  3200 block of Old Union Rd.  An apartment manager reported illegal dumping after seeing a visitor dumping trash out in the parking lot while cleaning out her car.  The suspect was identified by papers left at the scene and a warrant will be requested.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  900 block of Timberland St.  A car window was broken out and the jack and tire tool stolen over the weekend.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  0 block of Tanglewood Ct.  A large inflatable Frosty the Snowman Christmas decoration was destroyed Sunday night when someone cut it up.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  1010 N. Timberland Dr. (Allstar Auto).  Two cars broken into at Allstar Auto lot over the weekend and one stereo was stolen.

THEFT:  3600 block of N. Medford Dr.  Trucking chains, a lock, and about 60 gallons of diesel were stolen from an unattended truck over the weekend.
