Proud Of East Texas: Do Angels Exist?

It was angels who heralded the birth of Jesus on our very first Christmas and it is angels who remain one of our favorite symbols of Christmas. Billie Jean Henry of Mineola feels she's had some personal experiences with angels. She feels that angels saved her from injury in a tumble down a basement flight of stairs and in an auto accident that easily could have been fatal.

Since her experiences with angels, Henry has begun to paint them in every variety, from archangels to cherubs. She plans a one woman showing of her paintings of angels soon. A published poet, with two books to her credit, Henry also has written a poem about "Angels All Around", which she fervently believes.
