Deadly Accident Leads to Jail Sentence

A poor decision last summer to let a child ride on a truck bumper led to the death of a 13-year-old girl in East Texas, and now a jail sentence for the driver. Correy Hurst pleaded guilty to manslaughter and endangering a child.

A jury decided Hurst will spend two years behind bars for endangering a child. On the manslaughter charge, she was given seven years probation.
