POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE:  1000 block of South St. Suspect was contacted for suspicious activity, and was found to be in possession of a small amount of suspected cocaine. Harvey Jackson was arrested.

EVADING ARREST:  200 block of Oakhill Plaza. A suspect fled out a back window when probation officers and police were attempting to arrest him. He was captured and arrested. Edward Matthews was arrested.

THEFT:  814 NW Stallings Dr. (Laster Equipment). Unknown persons entered the gated area of the business and removed a Manco brand go cart.

TAMPERING WITH A GOVERNMENTAL RECORD:  312 W. Main St. (Nacogdoches Police Department).  A suspect booked into the Nacogdoches Police Department in December gave a false name. Warrant requested.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE:  900 block of Village Gate. Unknown persons used complainant's credit card number to make purchases.

DWI:  2900 block of E. Starr Ave. A suspect was involved in a major auto accident. Suspect transported to the hospital. DWI charge pending.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION:  1900 block of Woden Rd. Unknown suspects entered a residence and removed a refrigerator, two TVs, two VCRs, an electric heater, and miscellaneous clothing items.
