Nacogdoches Police Report - 01/11/07

THEFT:  1000 block of N. University Dr.  A suspect entered the store and took a 30-pack of beer without paying.

THEFT:  1900 block of Old Tyler Rd.  Complainant ordered a dog from a person in Missouri over the Internet. The dog did not arrive when expected, and a theft is suspected. Total loss $400.00.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  200 block of Martha Dr.  Suspect entered an unsecured vehicle and removed a purse containing checks, credit cards, and identifying information. Also, an iPod and a Canon A-80 camera are missing.

DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE:  3200 block of North St.  An officer conducted a traffic stop and found the driver to have a suspended driver's license. Sue Howard was arrested.

THEFT:  400 block of Willow Oak. Unknown suspects stole a barbeque pit from the back porch of a residence.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING:  1423 Bennett-Clark (Few Redi Mix).  A window was pried open and a cash box taken from inside the building.

TRESPASS OF A VEHICLE:  200 block of E. Lakewood.  A known suspect entered complainant's vehicle without permission. Nothing was taken.

THEFT:  1300 block of South St.  A known suspect stole some money from two complainants. The complainants confronted the suspect and the money was returned. Warrants have been requested.

RECOVERED PROPERTY:  1300 block of Pruitt Hill Dr.  A maintenance worker found a .22 pistol in a vacant apartment. Pistol was taken into custody.

FOUND PROPERTY:  3200 block of Center Hwy.  Complainant found a bicycle and a purse in his back yard. Purse was from an earlier burglary of a vehicle.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE:  2800 block of North St.  Complainant dropped a wallet and lost it in an unknown location. Since that time, complainant's credit card has been used several times.
