DOMESTIC  DISTURBANCE:  2600 block of S. First St.  A woman reported that her boyfriend hit her in the arm and covered her face with his hand, and then a pillow, in an effort to stop her from screaming for help.  The woman did not require medical treatment and the suspect was gone when officers arrived.

ASSAULT:  600 block of Lining St.  A woman reported that a male acquaintance grabbed her by her arms and pinned her against a wall when she went to help the man's girlfriend move out.  The victim had no visible injuries.

ASSAULT:  1900 block of Williams St.  A woman reported that her boyfriend hit her in the face, choked her, and kicked her in the side during an argument Tuesday evening.  The woman did not require medical treatment.

BURGLARY:  500 block of Dogwood Trail.  A residence was burglarized Tuesday afternoon.  Some jewelry was stolen and other items were moved around, but it's not yet clear if anything else is missing.

FORGERY / COUNTERFEITING:  2500 block of Daniel McCall Dr.  A couple reported that a book of checks was stolen and two were forged within the past few days.

ASSAULT:  1400 block of Lakeview St.  A woman reported that her boyfriend choked her when she tried to break off their relationship Tuesday afternoon

FORGERY / COUNTERFEITING:  200 block of Gobbler's Knob.  A man reported three unauthorized electronic withdrawals from his bank account dating back to October.

THEFT:  400 block of Gobbler's Knob.  A resident reported some jewelry stolen from her room at the assisted living center.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  500 block of Hemlock St.  Cash and a stereo were stolen during a car burglary sometime Monday night.

SEXUAL ASSAULT / RAPE:  200 block of Arena St.  A 15-year-old teen gave birth to a child and named a 19-year-old man as the father of the child.
