Lufkin Police Report - 01/24/07

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING:  903 N. Timberland Dr. (Vision Video)  Officers responding to a burglary alarm at Vision Video found a door pried open late Tuesday night.  Nothing was found to be missing when management came to check

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  1900 block of Timberland Dr.  A woman's purse was stolen from her unsecured car when she went into a convenience store for about two minutes Tuesday evening.

SEXUAL ASSAULT / RAPE:  Sexual assault of a child was reported.  The assault occurred during the past summer.

HARASSMENT:  500 block of S. Timberland Dr.  A woman reported receiving threatening phone calls and messages from a known suspect.

THEFT:  2300 block of Atkinson Dr.  Theft of cash from a deposit was reported.  The day's deposit was missing an undisclosed amount of cash.  Internal theft suspected.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  Graffiti was painted on the outside walls of several businesses downtown over the weekend of January 6th.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  600 block of N. Third St.  A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend threw a boot and broke her windshield Monday night during an argument.
