Another Arrest Connected with Bombs and Vandalism

A third arrest has been made in connection with a pipe bomb placed and detonated at the SFA Catholic Student Center. John Tyler Vaughn is out on bond for arson charges following the vandalism of a statue of the Virgin Mary last September.

According to authorities, the 20-year-old SFA student was involved in the incident with Carl Timmons and Paul Miles. They both remain in jail.

Partially assembled pipe bombs and materials used to make bombs were found in their apartment in November. Police were investigating an alleged assault between the roomates.
