A man walking on MLK near Kurth Dr. was shot by someone in a passing vehicle. A man walking on MLK near Kurth Dr. was shot by someone in a passing vehicle.

Around 8:40 on the evening of Thursday, January 18th, a man walking on MLK near Kurth Dr. was shot in the eye by someone in a passing car.

The man was walking home when a sports car drove past him.  The victim saw the passenger point something out the window and then he was shot in the eye with an unknown object. Detectives believe the man may have been hit by a marble fired from a paintball gun, and the victim may have permanent eye damage.

The victim can't tell us much about the suspects, but he did see their car.  They were in a red or orange sports car with twin white racing stripes on the hood and top.
