Nacogdoches Police Report - 02/06/07

ARREST ON FELONY WARRANT:  Antonio Martinez, 20, of Huntington, Texas was arrested 2/5/07 at approximately 10 a.m. at the Police Department on a felony warrant for racing. Martinez was a driver involved in a three-fatality accident on North St. at Wortham Dr. on 11/12/06. Martinez turned himself in to authorities. He was booked and transferred to the Nacogdoches County Jail pending arraignment.

THEFT:  1122 N. University Dr (Shoe Store).  A female suspect stole a pair of Nike shoes from the business. The suspect fled in a Toyota Camry automobile.

FAILURE TO IDENTIFY:  600 block of S. Fredonia St. Officers were dispatched to the park concerning suspicious activity. The suspect was contacted and gave officers a false name. He was later identified as Bryan Gates and was arrested.

DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE:  400 block of North St.  The suspect was stopped for a traffic violation and his Louisiana driver's license was found to be suspended. Randall Larry was arrested.

FORGERY:  3400 block of South St. (Sonic)  Unknown person paid for food with counterfeit one dollar bills.

THEFT:  2500 block of Ammons.  Unknown persons removed complainant's pit bull dog from a front yard.

ASSAULT / CRIMINAL TRESPASS:  1100 block of Ritchie St.  Complainant called about a female suspect who would not leave a residence. Female reported that the caller had pushed her during an argument. Neither party wished to pursue charges.

DEADLY CONDUCT /  DWI:  600 block of Burk St.  Husband and wife were involved in a disturbance. Female suspect chased husband, threatening him with a knife. Pamela Nealy was arrested.

FORGERY:
  4800 block of North St. Complainant reported that an unknown person had paid for some jewelry he had sold with forged money orders. The transaction was made over the Internet.
