Rancho el Jaripeo in Huntington got 23 demerits for improperly thawing food, needing food handler's certificates, uncovered food in the walk-in cooler, and a dirty floor in the walk-in cooler.

There was also food on the floor, cooked food stored with raw meat, and towels were needed at the hand sink. Soap was also needed in the rest rooms.  

Church's Chicken in Diboll got eight demerits because gravy and mashed potatoes were at the wrong temperature. Also, cleaning items were stored improperly.  

Manhattan Café in Lufkin got seven demerits. The reason: the ceiling and shelf in the freezer needed repainting and soap and towels were needed at the bar. Hand sanitizer was also needed in the restaurant  

Donut Palace in Diboll got six demerits for needing soap at the hand sink.
