Nacogdoches Police Report - 02/12/07

ASSAULT:  2800 block of Pearl St.  A known suspect threatened the victim with bodily injury during an argument. The suspect was gone upon arrival of officers. A warrant has been requested.

HIT AND RUN:  4800 block of North St.  Complainant stated that his vehicle was struck by a burgundy vehicle that left the scene.

  1500 block of Dolph St.  Complainant reported that his vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene.

FOUND PROPERTY:  4800 block of North St.  Complainant came to the Police Department and reported that he gave a ride to a female and male. When they exited the vehicle, they left two sacks of clothing items in the vehicle.

THEFT:  4600 block of North St.  Two known suspects stole the complainant's cell phone. The cell phone was recovered by the complainant and the suspects admitted to stealing the phone. Both suspects were gone upon arrival of officers. Warrants have been requested.

ASSAULT:  200 block of Travis St.  Officers responded to a noise complaint. Upon arrival, officers were contacted by the complainant who reported that he was struck in the head by an unknown object, causing a laceration. Complainant did not wish to file charges.

DWI:  500 block of North St.  Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Officers suspected the driver to be intoxicated. Paul Rice was arrested.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION:  400 block of Warren St.  Complainant returned home to find the door standing open. Complainant's purse containing credit cards and Social Security card was taken.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  2900 block of Center Hwy. Complainant reported that an unknown suspect had let the air out of his vehicle tire.

FORGERY:  4900 block of NW Stallings Dr.  An unknown female suspect passed a counterfeit bill during a transaction.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  2700 block of Old Lufkin Rd.  A suspect pried the trunk open on a vehicle and stole a CD player and a battery charger.

DWI:  1500 block of North St.  A suspect went to sleep in a drive-thru, and was found to be intoxicated. Albert Moreno was arrested.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE:  200 block of N. Stallings Dr.  An unknown suspect stole a 2000 Ford Explorer from a parking lot.

ASSAULT:  3100 block of Laura St.  A suspect struck the victim in her face while arguing. Ricky Daniels was arrested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF (CRIMINAL EPISODE).  Unknown suspects shot several residences with a paint ball gun. Residences were in the 100 block of Popp St. and 1000 block of W. Seale St.

HIT AND RUN:  2800 block of North St.  An unknown suspect driving a white SUV struck complainant's vehicle and left the scene without stopping.

THEFT:  4810 North St (Wal-Mart).  A suspect was observed taking two DVD players. Jatarus Young was detained by store personnel and was arrested.

THEFT:  4810 North St (Wal-Mart).  Complainant left her wallet in the restroom, and when she returned, the wallet was gone.

HIT AND RUN:  1200 block of N. Mound St.  Complainant's vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked in a parking lot.

DOG BITE:  3500 block of Colonial Dr.  Complainant was bitten by his own golden retriever. Report made.

HARRASSMENT:  400 block of SE Stallings Dr.  A known suspect continues to call the complainant on the telephone after being told not to do so.

AGGRAVATED ROBBERY:  200 block of E. Hospital St.  Complainant reported being robbed of $5.00 at gunpoint in the 200 block of Hospital St. Suspects are described as three (3) Hispanic males in their 20s in a late model green Ford Explorer. An investigation is underway.

THEFT:  1000 block of Jackson St.  Unknown suspect stole two boxer dogs from the residence.

DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE:  100 block of W. Seale St.  A suspect was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to have a suspended driver's license. Suspect also had an outstanding warrant from Galveston County. Carlos Ortiz was arrested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  3612 North St. (Victorian Inn).  A known suspect had rented a room in the hotel. When suspect checked out, wallpaper was found to be damaged in the room and a picture frame was broken.
