Lufkin Police Report - 02/21/07

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  3200 block of Edwards St.  A car windshield was broken out late Tuesday night by unknown means.

THEFT:  4600 S. Medford Dr. (Lufkin Mall)  A group of women were seen stealing items from a clothing store Tuesday evening.  Two of the women distracted the clerk in the back of the store and a witness saw three more women from the group placed several clothing items in a bag and leave the store without paying.

THEFT:  900 block of Camp St.  A Kodak camera was stolen over the weekend.

BURGLARY:  300 block of Renfro St.  A laptop computer was stolen in a residential break-in Tuesday afternoon.

JUVENILE PROBLEM:  500 block of College Dr.  A 16-year-old student became angry at school and punched a wall, causing damage Tuesday afternoon.

THEFT:  4300 block of S. Medford Dr.  An undisclosed amount of money was stolen from a business cash register in early February.  Internal theft is suspected.

THEFT:  3000 block of S. First St.  A purse was reported stolen after the victim's roommate had a friend over to visit.

BURGLARY:  1600 block of E. Denman Ave.  Two TVs, a computer, and a surround-sound system are missing after a reported residential break-in over the weekend.

STALKING:  100 block of Butler St.  A woman reported that she is being threatened and followed by a known female suspect.
