Nacogdoches Police Report - 02/21/07

CRIMINAL TRESPASS:  2113 North St (Sunshine Food Mart).  Suspect was found on the property after being issued a criminal trespass warning. Broderick Teal was arrested.

ASSAULT:  3300 block of Old Tyler Rd.  A female complainant reported that she was assaulted during a disturbance. The complainant did not wish to file charges.

RECOVERED PROPERTY:  3400 block of E. Main St.  Complainant recovered a purse on the property and notified police. Officers are attempting to locate the owner.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE:  312 W. Main St.  Suspect came to the police department and was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Suspect's vehicle was towed from front lot. During an inventory of the vehicle, officers located a quantity of suspected methamphetamine in the vehicle. Jessica Cooper was arrested.

FORGERY:  4810 North St (Commercial Bank).  A known suspect stole complainant's check and attempted to cash it at the Wal-Mart branch of Commercial Bank. Investigation underway.

ASSAULT:  200 block of E. Lakewood St.  Known suspect assaulted the complainant by head-butting. Suspect gone on arrival; warrant requested.

HIT AND RUN:  5000 North St.  Complainant's vehicle sustained a small scratch on the bumper from an unknown vehicle.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:  300 block of S. Pecan St.  Complainant reported that he was assaulted by a suspect with a knife. Complainant covered in mud, no injuries. Suspect is described as a black male, 6'4" tall.

SEXUAL ASSAULT:  1000 block of Ferguson St.  Complainant reported a sexual assault by a known suspect/ acquaintance. Investigation underway.
