Lufkin Police Report - 02/26/07

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING:  3500 block of S. Chestnut Dr.  A vacant house was broken into and a window unit air conditioner was stolen Saturday.

HARASSMENT:  1800 block of E. Denman Ave.  A teen reported that a male school acquaintance called her and threatened her life Saturday night.

HARASSMENT:  1800 block of E. Denman Ave.  A woman reported that another woman called and threatened the victim's daughter and cursed at the victim.  This call is related to case above. The victim and suspect in this case are the mothers of the two teens in case above.

ASSAULT:  Copeland St.  A pregnant woman reported an assault by her boyfriend during an argument as they drove on Copeland St. Sunday afternoon.  The victim escaped the vehicle with no visible injuries and the suspect left the area.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  2800 block of Daniel McCall Dr.  The hood of a vehicle was scratched with an unknown object, leaving a three-foot scratch on the paint over the weekend.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  100 block of Trailwood Cir.  A beer bottle was thrown through the back window of an SUV Saturday night.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING:  112 S. First St. (Roma's Italian Restaurant)  The restaurant was broken into early Sunday morning and a silver BMX bicycle and a half-gallon of Crown Royal whiskey was stolen.

BURGLARY:  100 block of Abney St.  A barbell was used to break out a car window sometime Saturday night.  The stereo was stolen from the car.
