Nacogdoches Police Report - 03/02/07

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE / CREDIT CARD ABUSE:  300 block of W. Main St. (Nacogdoches Police Department)  Complainant reported that a known suspect had taken a vehicle without permission. The same suspect has used complainant's credit cards at an ATM to withdraw money. Warrant requested.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  2800 block of Old Lufkin Rd.  Complainant reported that a radio was stolen from an unsecured vehicle.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  2700 block of Old Lufkin Rd.  Complainant had left a vehicle for repairs. Unknown suspects had broken a door, window, and trunk lock. Once inside, suspects damaged the vehicle. Nothing stolen.

HIT AND RUN:  4800 block of North St.  Complainant reported that a vehicle had been struck by an unknown vehicle while parked in a parking lot.

HARASSMENT:  300 block of Ellington St.  Complainant reports that a known suspect continued to call on the phone after being told not to do so. Warrant requested.

DWI:  3000 block of Durst St.  Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation and driver contacted. Officers suspected driver of being intoxicated. Gary Chapman was arrested.

FAIL TO STOP AND RENDER AID / DWI:  800 block of Moore St.  Suspect was involved in a hit and run accident at Main and University. Complainant followed the suspect until police arrived. Suspect driver was contacted and suspected of being intoxicated. Terrance Barnes was arrested.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA:  4800 block of South St.  Officer stopped vehicle for traffic violation. The driver was found to be in possession of a usable quantity of marijuana. Bernadette Foster was arrested.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA:  3406 Center Hwy. (Mr. Will's)  Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person in the parking lot of the business. Officers contacted the suspect and, during a pat-down for weapons, located a baggie containing suspected marijuana. Jeffrey Burgay was arrested. He also had outstanding warrants from NPD and Louisiana.

HARASSMENT:  200 block of Wettermark St.  Complainant reported that a known suspect continues to call or text-message the complainant after being told not to do so.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS:  2200 block of N. Pecan.  A known suspect entered a residence without permission. Suspect had been previously given a trespass warning. A warrant has been requested.
