ASSAULT / TERRORISTIC THREAT: 3100 block of Durst St. Complainant came to the police station and reported that he was pushed by a known suspect during a verbal disturbance. Another known suspect then threatened the complainant. Complainant wishes to pursue charges on both.
ASSAULT / INTERFERING WITH EMERGENCY CALL / POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 5300 block of Northway. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance. Officers contacted the parties involved and found that they had assaulted each other. Jari Parker and Marvin Hall were arrested. During the disturbance, Hall interfered with the emergency call. Once arrested, officers located a suspected hydrocodone tablet on Hall's person.
HARASSMENT: 1900 block of Pearl St. A known suspect has been sending the complainant harassing emails. Complainant wishes to file.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL / FURNISHING ALCOHOL TO A MINOR: 3400 block of SW Stallings Dr. Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and found the driver to have consumed alcohol. Dennis Thomas, age 17, was arrested for DUI. Pamela Ervin, a passenger, was also arrested for furnishing alcohol to a minor.
THEFT OF A FIREARM: 800 block of Lee Ln. Complainant reported that a .22 pistol had been stolen from the passenger seat of his vehicle.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 200 block of W. Seale St. Complainant reported that unknown suspects had entered the residence and removed a TV, computer, a chair, and some books.
ASSAULT: 1700 block of Powers St. Suspect was arrested after he assaulted a female during a disturbance. Jim Brooks was arrested.
AGGRAVATED ROBBERY / FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM / UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 4810 North St. (Wal-Mart parking lot) At about 4:00 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to a purse snatching at the Wal-Mart parking lot. While en route, officers were given a description of the suspect vehicle and a Georgia license plate. The vehicle was confirmed stolen from Georgia. The suspect had taken a purse from a shopping cart while a female victim was loading groceries. When she gave chase, the suspect physically assaulted her and fled in the stolen vehicle. The suspect vehicle was spotted by a volunteer fireman on FM 343. Deputies, DPS troopers, and NPD officers went to the area of FM 343 and Western Hills, and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect was arrested by an NSO deputy and NPD officer. Officers discovered a firearm in the vehicle. The suspect was taken to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
THEFT: 300 block of E. Main St. (Commercial Bank Of Texas) Bank employees reported the theft of money in excess of $1500.00. Investigation underway.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 800 block of Lee Ln. A welder and a cutting torch were reported stolen from a storage building.
EVADING ARREST: 500 block of Oakhill Plaza. Officers attempted to contact the suspect for suspicious behavior. The suspect ran from the officer and was captured. Damion Deckard was arrested.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE INVALID: 1700 block of Clarice St. While officers were attempting to serve a Class C warrant on this suspect, she was observed driving in the area. She was stopped adn found to have a revoked driver's license. Mitzi Allgor was arrested.
THEFT: 1000 block of N. University Dr. Complainant reported that a female suspect had stolen some money from his wallet as he exited a store.
ASSAULT: 900 block of Hackberry St. Two subjects were arguing over money. The suspect struck the victim in the mouth with his fist. Rodney Deckard was arrested.
