Nacogdoches Police Report - 03/30/07

THEFT OF A VEHICLE: 700 Block of South Pecan. Complainant left a black 1972 mercury cougar at a body shop for repairs over a year ago. The shop has since burned down and vacated the property. The vehicle is no longer there and was reported as stolen.

THEFT: 1215 North Street (KROGER). Suspect was observed taking items from the store without paying. Brian Tate was arrested.

THEFT:  Pearl Street near Banita Street. Suspect in the theft of a weedeater and lawnmower on Pearl Street was located and arrested. A 15 year old juvenile male was arrested.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 1718 East Main Street (Ken's # 2). A quantity of beer was reported missing from a beer delivery truck parked at the store.

UNATTENDED DEATH: 200 Block of South Church. A elderly male passed away in his residence approximately two weeks ago. No obvious signs of foul play: apparently natural causes.

INJURY TO A CHILD-ASSAULT: 1400 Block of Douglass Road. The complainant reported that her two sons, ages 17 and 13 were assaulted by a group of suspects on douglass road. The 17 year old suffered bruises to the face and the 13 year old suffered a broken nose. The suspects were located on south popp street and were arrested. Abel Rivera was charged with injury to a child and Joel Pasillas was charged with assault.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 1300 Block of Douglass Road. A known suspect picked up complainant's car from a shop without permission. The owner retrieved the car and notified the police.

HIT AND RUN: 200 Block of North Fredonia. Unknown suspect struck complainant's parked vehicle and left without giving information.
