Lufkin Police Report - 04/02/07

BURGLARY: 100 Block of Peggy St.  Burglary of a residence was reported.  A woman was away for a few days and her home was broken into and a washer and dryer were stolen.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY:  700 Block of  Hosea Dolphus Sr.  A woman reported that her grandson came to her home and she wouldn't let him in due to a history of thefts.  The grandson then tried to kick her front door in.  The suspect has been warned of trespassing at this location but left before officers arrived.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE:     100 Block of Broaddus.  A man reported that he was kicked in the ear by another man just before 3a.m. Sunday.  The victim had called the landlord to come shut down a loud party the suspect had been attending which led to the assault.

SEXUAL ASSAULT/RAPE:  Officers responding to a disturbance call found a 15 year old female living with a nineteen year old man.  The two live together without adult supervision and have a child together.
