Nacogdoches Police Report - 04/02/07

THEFT:  1000 Block of Cottonwood.   A Nex brand purple and black bike was reported stolen.

DRIVING WITH INVALID LICENSE/MISDEMEANOR POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA:  5200 Block of NW Stallings Drive.  Suspect vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. Driver was found to have a suspended drivers license. The suspect was then found to have a quantity of suspected marijuana on his person. Tracy ford was arrested.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION:  1300 Block of Shelton Drive.  Unknown suspects entered the garage area and removed a troy bilt push lawn mower, a weed eater, and an unknown brand bicycle.

FAILURE TO IDENTIFY/FALSE REPORT TO A PEACE OFFICER:  400 Block of Oakview.  Suspect was  contacted as a suspicious person in a back yard. Suspect acted confused and was transported to the hospital. It was later determined that the suspect was not being truthful with officers. A warrant has been requested.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 1000 Block of First Street. Two females got into a physical fight and assaulted each other with a lug wrench. One participant was transported to the hospital and a warrant has been requested. The other, latosha sterns was arrested.

ASSAULT:  3200 Block of North Street. A known suspect burned his girlfriend with a cigar. A warrant has been requested.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 200 Block of Oakhill Plaza.  Officers contacted two suspects for suspicious activity. One was found to have a quantity of suspected marijuana and suspected crack cocaine in his possession. The other was found to have a quantity of suspected marijuana on his person. Lajuan Washington and Warrenski Washington were arrested.

THEFT OF FIREARM: 5200 Block of East Main. Unknown suspects stole two handguns from the complainant's residence.

HIT AND RUN: Ritchie Street Park. An unknown suspect turned a vehicle over and fled the scene on foot.

DWI: 1400 Block of South Fredonia. Suspect hit a utility pole in a vehicle. Suspect was found to be intoxicated. Narciso Chavez was arrested.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 1400 Block of South Fredonia. Suspect had been called by the driver in the above accident for help. When officers arrived, he tossed a baggie containing suspected cocaine into some bushes. Urruia Fernando was arrested.

FURNISHING ALCOHOL TO A MINOR: 1507 North Street (Annex). Officers were conducting a walk thru and found this suspect buying alcohol for a minor. Mark Rogers was arrested.

DWI:  6800 Block of North Street. Suspect was involved in a major auto crash was suspected of being intoxicated. James Batson was arrested.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: 1100 Block of Pine Shadows. Suspect entered the residence thinking he knew the owners. Owner awoke and found the suspect in a recliner. Owner held the suspect until officers arrived. John Ralph was arrested.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: Logansport St (Back Of Pecan Park).  Officers smelled burning marijuana coming from a truck. Brian Rector was arrested after being found in possession.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 4800 Block of NW Stallings Drive. Two parked vehicle had their windows smashed overnight. Nothing taken.

THEFT: 300 Block of East Hospital. Complainant had left a computer for repairs. Unknown suspects entered the building and took the computer.

THEFT: 800 Block of Wildwood. Complainant reported that two black male suspects stole a lawn mower from the back yard of the residence.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 3200 Block of Swann Drive. Complainant reported that a wallet and two dual dvd players were stolen from a parked vehicle. The wallet contained credit card info and they have been used without authorization.

THEFT: 2500 Block of Durst Street. Complainant reported that five horse halters were stolen from horses in a pasture.

ASSAULT: 200 Block of East Lakewood. Officers were called to a disturbance. Suspect ahd assaulted a female victim by striking her in the mouth and slamming her hand in a door. Aaron Tolbert was arrested.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 2500 Block of Pearl. Complainant left apartment unsecured. Upon return, a wallet was missing containing cash and credit cards.

TAMPERING WITH A GOVERNMENTAL DOCUMENT: 1507 North (Annex Lot). Officers approached several subjects sitting in a vehicle consuming alcohol. One suspect produced a Texas drivers license that was fake. Raul Flores was arrested.

DWI: 900 Block of West Austin. Officer stopped a vehicle for traffic violation and suspected the driver of being intoxicated. Robert Martinez was arrested.

ASSAULT: 4601 North Street (Sports Shack). Victim was reportedly struck by another causing visible injury. Suspect was identified and a warrant requested.

DEADLY CONDUCT: 1507 North Street (Annex). A bouncer at the club removed an unruly patron. As the ejected patron walked towards the parking lot, he removed a black pistol from his waistband and displayed it in a reckless manner toward the bouncer. An investigation is underway.
