Wild Night in High School Baseball

The Lufkin Panthers had hit one home run all season until Tuesday nights seventh inning in Conroe.  The Pack broke a tie game with two solo shots.  Lufkin picked up their first district road win 6 to 4 over Oak Ridge.

The Hudson Hornets trailed 6 to 2 heading into their final at bat in Huntington.  But the Hornets rallied with six runs to beat the Red Devils.

Central opened their new park in easy fashion.  The Bulldogs scored eleven runs in the first inning and beat Center 16 to 1.

The Nacogdoches Dragons are still in contention for a district title.  The Dragons responded to their first district loss on Friday, by pounding Whitehouse 11 to 1.

Cushing moved to 6-and-0 in district with an 8 to 3 win over Mt. Enterprise.
