Nacogdoches Police Report - 04/04/07

FOUND PROPERTY: 1200 Block of  South Street. A debit card was recovered in the parking lot. It was retained for safekeeping pending location of the owner.

FOUND PROPERTY: 200 Block of East Main. An electronic pipe locator was found next to a bench. It was retained for safekeeping.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: 300 Block of Ellington. Suspect was on the property after having been warned not to return. Vincent Wallace was arrested.

EVADING ARREST: 1600 Block Of Pearl Street. Suspect was stopped for a traffic violation on a bike. Suspect ran from officers, abandoning the bike. The suspect was caught and arrested. Paul Coons was arrested, and the investigation is still open.

IDENTITY THEFT: 300 Block of West Main Street. Complainant came to the pd to report that an unknown suspect was using a credit card in New York without permission.

FAILURE TO ID: 3500 Block of South Street. Suspect was contacted on a suspicious person call and gave officers a false name. After investigation was completed, Cameron Johnson Was arrested.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: 700 Block of East Main. Unknown suspects broke the glass out of the front door and attempted to gain entry.

FORGERY: 1216 South Street (Brookshire Brothers). A counterfeit check was presented and cashed at the business.

HIT AND RUN: 1000 Block of North Mound. Complainant's parked and unattended vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene.

HARASSMENT: 3400 Block of East Main Street. A known suspect made a threatening telephone call to the complainant.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 2200 Block of South Fredonia. An unknown suspect entered complainant's residence and removed a laptop computer and an Orion tv without permission.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 119 Beall Street (M&M #3). Complainant reported that a wallet containing a credit card was lost. The card has since been used to make an unauthorized purchase.

THEFT: 200 Block of East Lakewood. Unknown suspect stole complainant's purse from the front porch of the apartment.
