Nacogdoches Police Report - 04/09/07

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE (2 COUNTS): 300 BLOCK OF PITMAN STREET AND 400 BLOCK OF MARTHA DRIVE. Officers were called of two suspicious suspects running on Pitman street towards East Main. Two juvenile males were stopped and were in possession of cell phones taken in auto burglaries that had just occurred on Pitman street and Martha drive. Both were taken into custody.

HARRASSMENT: 3400 Block of East Main. Known suspect threatened to harm the victim during a telephone Conversation.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 1000 Block of Shawnee Street. Officer stopped to talk with persons in the parking lot of the metro drive in. During the encounter, officers found Desmond Patton in possession of suspected crack cocaine.

ASSAULT: 100 Block of Upton Street. Complainant reported being assaulted at a party. Complainant was intoxicated, and no medical treatment was required.

DWI-DWLI: 4000 Block of Appleby Sand Road. Suspect was involved in a major accident and was suspected of being intoxicated. His drivers license was also suspended. Joseph Lewis was arrested.

HIT AND RUN: 1600 Block of North Street. An unknown suspect driving a burglandy contour struck complainant's vehicle and left the scene.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 200 Block of Feazell Street. Complainant reported two rods and reels, a grease gun, from complainant's garage.

DWLI-FAILURE TO IDENTIFY: 2800 Block Of Pearl Street. During a traffic stop the driver gave a false name and was found to have a suspended drivers license. Deandre Wallace was arrested.

THEFT: 700 Block of Mockingbird Lane. Unknown suspects removed four tires and wheels from the complainant's back yard.

FOUND PROPERTY: 900 Block Of Sanders. Complainant located an abandoned bike in the yard.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 3200 Block Of Edgewood. Unknown suspect entered complainant's vehicle and removed a sony camcorder and a sony digital camera.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 2200 Block of George. Unknown suspect threw a rock at complainant's vehicle causing damage.

DWI: 3400 Block of Center Highway. Officers were dispatched to a report of an intoxicated driver. Suspect had stopped in a parking lot and was contacted and found to be intoxicated. Lula Chastain was arrested.

DWI-DEADLY CONDUCT: 100 Block of Wettermark. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance. Complainant reported that the suspect had been following him around town and had thrown a beer bottle at him. The suspect, Todd Havley was arrested.

DWLI: 1200 Block of Powers Street. Officers stopped vehicle for traffic violation. Brenda Harris was arrested after being found to have a suspended drivers license.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 2200 Block of Maybell Street.  Unknown suspect threw a rock through a storm door, breaking it.

ASSAULT: 3400 Block of East Main Street. Complainant reported that a known suspect had assaulted his common law wife. The suspect had left the scene and victim did not wish to file charges.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 5100 Block of North Street. During a disturbance between two females, one broke away and got into a vehicle and drove towards the other. The vehicle struck the victim, causing minor injury. The suspect vehicle then left the scene. Investigation underway.

DEADLY CONDUCT: 1200 Block of Harris Street. Possible Suspect Vehicle, A White Ford Mustang, Drove By A Residence And Fired A Gun At The Residence, Striking It Several Times. Investigation Underway.

FOUND PROPERTY: 600 Block of East Pilar. A pink ladies bicycle was recovered and taken into custody.

ARSON: 1400 Block of Victoria. A 1995 Dodge pickup had the interior apparently set on fire. The fire put itself out after causing major damages. The case referred to the Nacogdoches city fire marshal.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 1500 Block of Pearl. A known suspect entered the complainant's residence and took some items without permission. A warrant has been requested.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 4810 North Street (Wal Mart).  An unknown suspect used complainant's debit card to purse items from the store.
