Teen Hit by Train Released from Hospital

An East Texas teenager hit by a moving train last week is now out of the hospital and recovering at home. Freddarius Anthony was released from the hospital last Friday, but is still under a doctor's care.

The Timpson High School senior was thrown from his car when it collided with a Union Pacific train at a Highway 59 crossing in Timpson.

Witnesses told authorities he did not slow down and drove right through the crossing.

Anthony was on his way to an after school track practice when the crash happened.
