Capital Murder Trial Begins in Nacogdoches

The day was spent selecting a jury for Shaina Sepulvado's capital murder trial in Nacogdoches. The 17-year-old Cushing girl is being tried as an adult. She's accused of going along with her mother's plan to kill James Kelly, Shaina's stepfather and Marcia Kelly's husband back in October of 2005. Testimony started late Monday afternoon. Marcia Kelly is serving a life sentence. Colton Weir was also sentenced in connection with the crime. And Dallas Christian awaits a trial date.
