Nacogdoches Police Report - 04/13/07

DEADLY CONDUCT: 1602 North Street (Wendy's). A suspect got into an argument with another customer in the parking lot over a parking space. The suspect attempted to strike the victim with a car, and then followed the victim into the store, attempting to assault her. Officers arrived and arrested Latrena Pleasant.

THEFT: 3228 North Street (North Street Chevron). A known suspect is thought to have failed to make a money drop to the safe.  Investigation underway.

THEFT: 1424 North Street (CVS Pharmacy). A wallet was stolen from the restroom by an unknown suspect. Wallet contained personal identification.

HIT AND RUN: 4800 Block of North Street. A parked vehicle was struck by a car that left the scene. Witnesses got a license number of the suspect vehicle. Investigation underway.

HIT AND RUN: 600 Block of North University Drive. Officers were called to a three car minor accident. The third vehicle left the scene without giving information.

HIT AND RUN: 1800 Block of North Street. Complainant reported that a Uhaul van had been struck by another vehicle on North Street. The vehicle left the scene without stopping.

HARRASSMENT: 700 Block of Bois D Arc. Complainant reported that two known suspects continue calling after being told not to do so. Warrants requested.

ASSAULT: 100 Block of Northgate Street. A known suspect drove his girlfriend to Northgate Street and assaulted her by pulling her out of the car by the hair. A warrant has been requested.

ASSAULT: 300 Block of Muckleroy. Complainant reported that her adult son had assaulted her juvenile son. Complainant wishes to file-warrant requested.

ASSAULT: 400 Block of Drewery Drive. Complainant reported that her husband had assaulted her. Complainant sustained visible injuries. A warrant has been requested.

ASSAULT: 300 Block of West College. Complainant reported that his roomate had pushed and slapped him. Complainant did not wish to file charges, no injuries.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 2200 Block of Cotton Street. Officer was behind a vehicle on cotton street when it came to a sudden stop. The driver exited the vehicle and fled into a wooded area. Officers observed a quantity of suspected marijuana inside the vehicle, and evidence inside the vehicle as to the identity of the driver. Vehicle towed, and a warrant has been requested.

DWI: 100 Block of Eloise. Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Officer suspected the driver of being intoxicated. Justin Ty Anthony was arrested.
