Lufkin Police Report - 04/16/07

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION:  1200 Block of  Sayers.  A window screen was removed and two window panes were broken out in an unsuccessful effort to break into a home Sunday evening.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:   900 Block of Westbury .  A teenaged son threw a brick through the window of the family van during an argument Sunday evening.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  2000 Block of South John Redditt Drive.  A man and a woman were seen trying to break into a car at a church Sunday evening.  The suspects were seen by people leaving the church and fled in a red Pontiac Grand Am.  The victim's car was not entered but the paint was scratched during the attempted break-in.

THEFT:  1000 Block of Dunlap.  A man reported two pit bull dogs stolen from him fenced in back yard over the weekend.  One of the dogs returned home but the female dog is still missing.  The victim thinks the male dog got loose from the thief and returned home.

HARRASSMENT:  2500 Block of Lotus Lane.  A teenaged girl reported that a former boyfriend called her Sunday night and threatened to beat her up.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: 1800 Block of  Culverhouse.  A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend bit her on the neck during an argument about her dating someone else and then took money from her purse while leaving Sunday afternoon.
