Nacogdoches Police Report - 04/18/07

IDENTITY THEFT: 500 Block of North University. A suspect is believed to have used another's identity when given a citation by the Nacogdoches police.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS DRUG: 1100 Block of South Street. A suspect was stopped for a traffic violation and found to have an outstanding traffic warrant. Incident to arrest, officers found a quantity of prescription medication in the vehicle along with suspected marijuana. Anita Harrison was arrested.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 300 Block of West College. Unknown suspect removed a ring from the vehicle console while parked. No forced entry to vehicle.

IDENTITY THEFT: 400 Block of Dennis Street. Complainant advised that an unknown suspect had used their identifying information to purchase four cell phones.

HIT AND RUN: 1100 Block of North Street. A known suspect backed into complainant's vehicle and left the scene. A warrant has been requested.

THEFT: 3100 Block of North Pecan Street. A known suspect is suspected of stealing a credit card from a residence and using it to make unauthorized purchases.

THEFT: 4810 North Street (Wal Mart). Joseph Johnson took merchandise from the store without paying. He was arrested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1100 Block of Oakhill Plaza. A known suspect broke out a security light with a rock. A warrant has been requested.

ASSAULT: 1800 Block of Clarice. Two juvenile siblings became angry over a video game and physically assaulted each other.  Parent contacted. No injuries, no charges.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 3100 Block of North Pecan. Complainant reported that a credit card had been stolen. Several unauthorized charges have been made to the card.
