Court Holds Up Death Row Inmate's Conviction

A man who murdered his live-in girlfriend back in 2003 will remain on death row. The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals has upheld the capital murder conviction of 36-year-old Donnie Roberts.

Roberts killed 44-year-old Vickie Bowen during an argument at her home in Lake Livingston.

A Polk County jury found him guilty after only two hours of deliberation and gave him the death penalty.
