Library Groundbreaking

A popular East Texas library is receiving an upgrade. It is getting bigger.

A groundbreaking ceremony kicked off the start of several changes being made at the Temple Memorial Library in Diboll. The ceremony was held to show off plans for some of the library's new additions. The changes are being made to better serve the needs of a growing community.

"We're adding on around 7,000 square feet. So it's going to be a big add on. It's nearly doubling the size of the library. But we're also combining three building into one building which is going to be wonderful, not only for the population of diboll, but for the security of our employees, too," said Library Chairman Kathy Sample.
