Lufkin Police Report - 04/26/07

THEFT:  4300 Block of Medford.  Several video games have been stolen from store inventory over the past five weeks.  Internal theft is suspected.

FRAUD:  3500 Block of North John Redditt Drive.  A man learned that two bogus checks using his bank account information and someone else's name had been charged to his account.  It's not clear where the checks were passed but the address

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE:  2000 Block of Culverhouse.  A woman reported that her husband kicked the house door, cracked a window on their rental car and choked her during an argument Wednesday morning.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  600 Block of Hoskins.  A car tire was cut and a Spanish curse word was scratched into a woman's car overnight Tuesday.  

BURGLARY:  1500 Block of First.  A truck was broken into and the stereo and some tools stolen between Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning.

BURGLARY:  100 Block of Trailwood.  A pickup window was broken out overnight Tuesday and someone attempted to steal the stereo but was not successful. 

BURGLARY:  1500 Block of Azalea.  A car door was pried on and the window broken on a car overnight Tuesday but nothing was noted missing from the car.    

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  2500 Block of East Denman Ave.  A brick was thrown through the front windshield of a Peterbilt Truck overnight Tuesday.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  1500 Block of Azalea.  The door glass of a car was broken out overnight Tuesday but nothing was taken from the vehicle.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  500 Block of Vine.  A car was broken into overnight Tuesday and the stereo was stolen.

HARASSMENT:  200 Block of Forest Park.  A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend has been calling and leaving messages on her phone and called and yelled at her.  He also came by her house at 2a.m. Wednesday morning and was knocking on her window.
