That is why KTRE-TV is dedicated to serving the public interest, not only through our programming, but also through active community involvement. KTRE-TV is committed to providing the East Texas community the service it deserves.
KTRE's primary public service vehicle is our Community Calendar. Community Calendar is a weekly on-air announcement of events coming to the area. Announcements are aired three to four days in advance of the event. Any not-for-profit group is invited to submit their events for inclusion in Community Calendar. Please send information at least two weeks in advance to Community Calendar, PO Box 729 Lufkin, Texas 75902.
Events may also be posted and viewed right here on KTRE.COM by clicking the Community button on the Home Page then clicking on the Community Events Calendar. Simply follow the directions to register or add events.
At KTRE, service to our East Texas communities is an important part of what we do. By providing air-time, services and manpower to recognizable non-profit organizations and community events, we help keep them viable and keep you informed.
