Nacogdoches Police Report - 04/30/07

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 1100 Block of Murray Street. Unknown persons forced entry into the building and stole some cash.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 100 Block of Old Line Drive. During a disturbance, a suspect punched a hole in the wall of the residence. Complainant does not wish to file.

DWI-UNLAWFUL CARRYING OF A WEAPON: 4500 Block of Northeast Stallings Drive. Officers responded to a call of an intoxicated driver. Officers located the vehicle and suspected the driver of being intoxicated. Officers located a pistol in the glove box of the vehicle. Connie Jeanne Holmes was arrested.

HIT AND RUN: 3100 Block of Press Road. A vehicle that was involved in a minor accident fled the scene without stopping. No injuries.

ASSAULT: 500 Block of Richardson Street. Complainant was struck by a known suspect with an open hand. No injuries, complainant does not wish to file charges.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 2000 Block of Martin Luther King. A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. Upon contact, officer could detect the odor of burning marijuana. Officers located a quantity of suspected marijuana. Ahmad Williams was arrested.

DWI: 4800 Block of North Street. Suspect vehicle almost struck another vehicle. Officers stopped the suspect vehicle and suspected the driver of being intoxicated. Alexandra Tagas was arrested.

THEFT: 3800 Block of South Street. Unknown suspects broke into a vehicle and removed a dell laptop computer.

DWI: 1500 Block of Railroad. Officer conducted a traffic stop and suspected the driver of being intoxicated. Bobby Morgan was arrested.

HIT AND RUN: 3100 Block of Phoenix Terrace. Unknown vehicle struck complainant's parked vehice and left the scene.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 300 Block of West Main. Complainant reported that over $1800.00 in fraudulent charges had been made to a credit card.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 1500 Block of Looneyville. Complainant reported that an amplifier had been removed from his vehicle.

THEFT: 1300 Block of South Street. A known suspect stole three cartons of cigarettes from the store. Warrant requested.

DEADLY CONDUCT: 1200 Block of Harris Street. Complainant reported that someone was shooting at his residence. No shell casings were found, no suspects.

THEFT: 1122 North University Drive. A cell phone was reported as stolen from Radio Shack.

THEFT: 1300 Block of Spokane. Two known suspects stole two bicycles. Both were recovered, and warrants have been requested.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: 1500 Block of Gasaway Street. Officers were called to a burglary in progress. The occupant of a residence awoke to discover two male suspects in the residence who fled. Nothing was taken.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: 3800 Block of North Street. A security officer observed a suspect on the property who had been given a previous criminal trespass warning. Officers arrested a 15 year old juvenile who was released to his parents.

DWI: 4600 Block of North Street. Officers received a call of an intoxicated driver. The vehicle was located and the occupant contacted. Officers suspected the driver of being intoxicated. John Chisolm was arrested.

DWI-POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 700 Block of North Sanders. Officers were dispatched to a major accident. Officers contacted the driver, Gabriel Gibson and a passenger, Sylvia Palafox. Both were suspected of being intoxicated. Gibson charged with DWI and Palafox charged with public intoxication. Both were charged with possession of marijuana because of suspected marijuana located in the vehicle.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 2100 Block of Banita Street. Officers were called after 8-10 individuals forced their way into a residence and physically assaulted three individuals that were inside. All suspects were gone on arrival. Officers have a tentative ID on suspects and investigation is underway. No serious injuries reported.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Durst Street At Westview. Motorist came to the pd to report that unknown suspect threw a rock and shattered a windshield.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 3200 Block of North Street. Officers contacted the suspect reguarding a hit and run accident. Officers discovered that she was in possession of suspected marijuana. Alyssa Gerbich was arrested.
