2 Tart apples (Janie prefers Pink Lady)
1/4 cup Water
2/3 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 stick or 1/4 cup of Butter
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 handful Craisins
Core and slice leaving peel on. Place in pot or deep skillet. Combine all ingredients. Stir ingredients over medium heat until butter melts and combine with sugar. Reduce heat to low and cover for fifteen minutes.
Remove lid and cook an additional five minutes stirring occasionally. Serve hot or cold over a slice of our delicious Cinnamon Jane Pound Cake. Enjoy!
