Lufkin Police Report - 05/07/07

FELONY THEFT:  2300 Block of Northwood.  Cash was stolen from a safe Friday or Saturday and the owner suspects his son or two women whom his son had brought the house, had stolen the money.

ASSAULT:  2300 Block of Atkinson.  A woman reported that her boyfriend hit her in the face several times during a disturbance late Sunday night.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  600 Block of Moore St.  An unlocked vehicle was entered and the stereo stolen sometime during the day Sunday.

THEFT:  2400 Block of Paul St.  A man reported that a car dolly was stolen sometime Saturday.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE:  1800 Block of Sayers.  A grandmother reported that her grandson kicked her door and damaged it as he was leaving after an argument Sunday.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  100 Block of Hemlock Rd.  The back window of a car was broken out with a rock Sunday morning.

 ASSAULT:  400 Block of McDonald.  A woman reported that her boyfriend hit her in the face several times during an argument early Sunday morning.  The woman suffered minor injuries.

ASSAULT:  400 Block of Locke Al  A woman reported that her boyfriend hit her in the head several times after threatening to kill her during an argument early Sunday morning.  The woman reported having blurred vision due to the assault.

BURGLARY OF COIN OPERATED MACHINE:  1300 Block of Abney.  A change machine was broken into at a washateria around 1am Sunday morning.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE:  1800 Block of Sayers.  A woman reported that she was attacked by two known suspects, one armed with a baseball bat.  The woman reported that one of the suspects hit her with the bat and knocked her down and the second suspect jumped on her while she was on the ground.  The woman with the bat later called in to report that she had been attacked by the alleged victim.  No serious injuries to any party.
