Nacogdoches Police Report - 05/08/07

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 4800 Block of Northwest Stallings Drive. Unknown suspects entered an unsecured vehicle and took 6 cartons of cigarettes, 6 cases of beer, a pair of binoculars, and some change.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 1100 Block of Oakhill Plaza. Officers were assisting the probation department in serving warrants. Officers observed a suspect smoking marijuana. The suspect was contacted and found to be in possession of approximately 2 grams of suspected crack cocaine. Charle Duncan was arrested.

HIT AND RUN: 1200 Block of North Mound Street. Unknown suspect vehicle struck complainant's parked vehicle and left the scene.

FAILURE TO IDENTIFY: 900 Block of West Main. Officer made contact with the suspect on a follow up call. Suspect gave officers a false name and id. Maxie Antwon Decker was arrested.

THEFT-CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 1000 North University Drive. Complainant left a wallet on the counter. The wallet was stolen and the suspect used complainant's credit card to purchase items.

ASSAULT: 2800 Block of Pearl Street. A known suspect touched the complainant in an offensive manner. The complainant refused to file charges.

TERRORISTIC THREAT: 1100 Block of Bennett Clark Road. A note was found that indicated there was a bomb on the premises. No device located; case still under investigation.

THEFT: 1200 Block of Durst Street. A pink and black mountain bike was stolen from a porch.

THEFT: 2200 Block of Marty. A bicycle was reported stolen . It was located at a residence on Dolph Street where a 13 year old juvenile was taken into custody. The juvenile was released to a parent.

THEFT: 2600 Block of Williams Street. Complainant reported that the copper was removed from five large air conditioning units at the old nursing home.

ROBBERY: 400 Block of East Main. Complainant reported giving a cigarette to a black male suspect and then waking up on the ground. The complainant's wallet with cash was missing. Complainant sustained a lacerated lip.

ASSAULT: 2700 Block of George. A known suspect hit his girlfriend in the eye during an argument. Suspect gone on arrival.

ASSAULT: 2600 Block of Daybreak. Suspect slapped the complainant during a disturbance. The suspect was located and arrested. Jackie Session was arrested.

ASSAULT: 3400 Block of East Main. Complaiant reported being assaulted by a known suspect. The complainant was struck in the head and hair pulled. Suspect gone on arrival, warrant requested.
