Nacogdoches Police Report - 05/10/07

THEFT: 4810 North Street. Officer dispatched to Wal-Mart in reference to two shoplifters in custody. Both subjects allegedly took clothing items and attempted to leave the store without paying. Latrece Lee and Shannon Robinson were arrested.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 200 Block Of Beall Street. Complainant reported that a blue 1991 Honda Civic was missing. Vehicle has Texas license plate T93 PLT.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 1500 Block Of East Main. Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A consent to search revealed suspected crack cocaine on a passenger's person. Jesus Pena was arrested.

THEFT: 2100 Block Of Pearl Street. Complainant reported that a black male suspect returned to the residence to repay money that had been borrowed earlier. While complainant was out of the room, the suspect took her purse and fled.

ASSAULT: 1507 North Street. Officers were dispatched to bullfrogs on an assault victim. Complainant reported being hit in the mouth by a known suspect. Complainant had a busted lip and loose teeth. Warrant requested.

THEFT: 1215 North Street. Kroger employee reported leaving a cell phone in the break room and it being stolen from there.

POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS DRUG: 3300 Block Of North University Drive. While investigating a minor traffic accident, officer discovered a prescription sleep aid in the vehicle that no prescription was issued for. Mark Batchelor was arrested.
